You’ve probably seen the link every time you’ve logged in to Netflix, but if you haven’t clicked on it, it’s about time. Netflix is gearing up for season 3 of Bloodline (which will be its last), to be released sometime early next year. Until then, you’ll have plenty of time to catch up with the series where family secrets, drugs and coverups reign supreme. Why should you dedicate your precious time to this show, you ask? Well, let me tell you.
If you haven’t heard, TV is really in right now, which is why a Netflix original can get actors like Sissy Spacek. But even if you’re not familiar with the rest of the cast, the acting is top quality, and there are Emmys to back it up. Kyle Chandler was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor, and Ben Mendelsohn won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor.
Shot in the Florida Keys, the crew is already working with a pretty gorgeous canvas. But the way this show draws out the dark, seedier side of the Keys is masterful. The show is shot with a subtlety that makes the psychological drama all the more gripping.
Marco is a Hottie
Let’s get real. What show would be complete without a hot dude who also happens to be bilingual? While his screen time takes up only about 10% of each episode, Marco can have 100% of my heart.
